Impact Accelerator

To whom?

  • Research teams’
  • Post-Docs
  • Experienced researchers
  • University of Helsinki stakeholders (you can be from another university, just make sure one of your team members is from the University of Helsinki)
  • To researchers who want to get know-how for impact of research and business collaboration

Entry-requirements:

  • Participation to the Impact Clinic. See the Impact clinic schedule and registration
  • Persons/teams attending the accelerator must have a new research idea. It could be from any research field.
  • Good motivation to accelerate the new research idea.

Benefits:

  • Personal face-to-face support to develop your teams’ new research idea towards a project.
  • Tools to prepare funding proposal to Tekes, Horizon 2020 and Strategic Research Council.
  • Methods to identify stakeholders and end user needs.
  • Platform for matchmaking and co-design.
  • Peer reviewing & support – learning from others.

Program details:

  • See the schedule of the whole accelerator program
  • Program consists guest speakers, practical working methods, contacts with stakeholders and personal face-to-face support.
  • Program runs on for two months. The last session is face-to-face day and the time is agreed separately with each team.
  • Program is free of charge and free coffee/tea is served on each contact day.
  • Venue of the program is Helsinki Think Company (Center Campus, Yliopistonkatu 4, Helsinki).
