526107 Practical course in physiological plant ecology

Pre-requisites: none enforced but basic knowledge of Ecology recommended as well as Physiological Plant Ecology lectures.

Objective: To introduce the students to some common measurement methods used in experimental ecology (gas-exchange measurements, light measurements, in-vivo measurements of chlorophyll and phenolics).

Contents: Students will design, carry out and report on small research experiments in groups.

Requirements for passing: Participation in practicals is obligatory (90%), written report and seminar presentation.

Literature: material delivered during practicals, and material listed in Moodle.

Grading: pass/fail.
