Anna Uitto is university lecturer in biolology education.  She studyies the didactics of biology,  science education  and education for sustainable development (ESD). She is director of the subproject (Factors behind teachers and students sustainability actions)  in the interdiciplinary SEED-project, and  supervisor of three PhD students in the Depaetment of Teacher education. In the SEED-projects she is studing lower secondary school students and subjects teachers sustainabilty-related internal factors,  experiences and actions in the  ESD.

Seppo Saloranta is making his thesis in the subproject (Factors behind teachers and studetn sustainability actions)  of  the interdiciplinary SEED-project  he studies ESD in the different levels of the primary schools, especially from the viewpoints of principals, classteachers, and 6th grade students.

Kirsti Salo is  making her thesis in the  subproject (Factors behind teachers and students sustainability actions)  in the interdiciplinary SEED-project by studying the development of a co-operation model  between a local 4H association and primary and lower secnodary schools.
