Club meeting 18.10.2016: “Ecometrics beyond limits”

Hi All,

Next Tuesday Indre Žliobaitė is going to talk about “Ecometrics beyond limits”, here is a short abstract:

“Ecometrics is a methodology for analysis of environments via common traits of species. It is presumed that surviving in different environments requires different functional traits, such as types of teeth. By characterizing what kind of trait distributions species assemblages have one can model environments and reconstruct environmental conditions from the past. I will talk about the computational side of ecometrics and new developments in ecometric analysis with case studies in East Africa.”

Everyone is warmly welcome to join!

See you on Tuesday 18.10.2016 at 16.00 in C108, Physicum!
