Research Community CoCoLaC:
Contrasting and Comparing Languages and Cultures
The RC has four main research axes which overlap and complete each other:
Vocabulary,
Contrastive syntax,
Text types and discourses,
Pragmatic approaches to languages and cultures.
The foci of our RC relate very closely to the major fields of research of the Faculty, as exposed in its strategy, viz. cultural and linguistic diversity, language and interaction, and corpus linguistics.
