If a teacher takes copies for teachings by photocopying or other copying with similar method it is allowed in accordance with the licenses made under Article 13 of the Copyright Act. See Photocopying. It is important to remember the difference between photocopying for teaching without separate reimbursements and copying for teaching with separate reimbursements. Conditions for photocopying are different. If a student independently takes copies for own private use and studies the provisions of private use may be applied to the stuedent’s use. See Private use.
