Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology Bangalore

Srishti has an established reputation for cutting-edge, interdisciplinary work, and was one of the first institutions in India to offer courses on creative coding and video games. In the past years, it has diversified its portfolio to include a range of new courses at Masters level, and six new schools, http://srishti.ac.in/schools-and-disciplines. Existing centres and labs that are particularly relevant to this project are: (Art)ScienceBLR, http://artscienceblr.org/, a public laboratory at the Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology for artists and designers to engage with scientific practices, as well as The Centre for Experimental Media Arts, http://srishti.ac.in/centers-and-labs/center-for-experimental-media-arts which is an artist hacker and maker space and aims to be a platform for experimentations with art and science encouraging trans and inter-disciplinary work that integrates diverse media, modalities and technologies.
