Here is another example how one can delay things which can be wrapped up with couple of days of work. Two years ago, editor of BioEssays – Andrew Moore – asked me me to write a perspective/review article about climate change evolution. I happily agreed, and then spent two years trying to forget what I had promised. As the shame of my failure was growing – rather than dwindling – I decided to sit down for couple of days and get over with it. It was surprisingly easy. It is probably not the greatest paper in the face of the earth, but at least it tries to articulate some of the open questions and possible perception biases we are experiencing when it comes to evolution (or lack of it) in response to on going climate change.
