In order to leave one of the mailing lists, do the following:

Write an e-mail to the address majordomo@helsinki.fi from the same e-mail address you have joined the mailing list with (it is really important, that you use the same e-mail address!).

Again, don’t care about the subject line, leave it blank.

Depending on which e-mail list you want to leave, write into the message body

unsubscribe foreign-students
or
unsubscribe fs-chat
or
unsubscribe degree-students
or
unsubscribe esn-helsinki

If you want to unsubscribe from a different email address than the one that you used when subscribing, write the unsubscribing command like this:
unsubscribe foreign-students your.email@address.fi

Send the e-mail. You will get an automatic reply which will tell you exactly what to do next.

Important! If you have problems joining or leaving the mailing lists, please don’t write to the mailing list directly, but contact the mailing list administrator at
(or owner-fs-chat, owner-degree-students or owner-esn-helsinki respectively depending on which list you want to leave).
