Research topics in Forest Soil Science and Biogeochemistry

We are carrying out research on the properties, processes and functions of forest soils and factors affecting them, in the laboratory and in the field, and from small-scale studies to watersheds.

Research in forest soil science gives answers to the sustainability of forest management practices and other man-made activities related to management of our natural resources. In developing them, we are doing international and interdisciplinary cooperation, are in contact with the practice, and integrate our research results also into teaching.
