The department of geosciences and geography has a broad spectrum of resouces that support research and studies of geoinformatics. Some hardware/devices, software and data sets are freely accessible to all students and researchers, while others are in more restricted use of certain research projects.

Students and staff of geoinformatics have a own mailing list (gi-list(a)helsinki.fi). This provides you with information on courses, lectures, events and open job positions.  If you wish to subscribe the list mails, send an e-mail to Tuuli Toivonen.
