In line with the theme of this ESA Research Network 15 midterm conference, the following six thematic workshops will cover a variety of themes broadly linked the challenge of a global sociological imagination. These are:
- Workshop 1 – Migration, Cosmopolitanism and Everyday Life
- Workshop 2 – The Domestication of Worldwide Models
- Workshop 3 – Tackling Sociology’s Methodological Nationalism
- Workshop 4 – Decolonising Sociology
- Workshop 5 – Social Capital in Transnational and Diaspora Communities
- Workshop 6 – General Session
Please select the workshop in which you wish to participate and once you have prepared an abstract of no more than 250 words, send it to ESAResearchNetwork15@gmail.com clearly indicating the number of the workshop you would like to participate in. Please mark the workshop number both on your abstract (e.g. Workshop 1: Migration, Cosmopolitanism and Everyday Life) and in the subject line of your email submission (e.g. Abstract: Workshop 1).
The deadline for abstract submissions is January 15th, 2018.
