IFLA World Library and Information Congress “Libraries Now! – Inspiring, Surprising, Empowering”
Maailman suurin vuosittainen kirjastoalan tapahtuma, 78. IFLA World Library and Information Congress järjestetään Messukeskuksessa Helsingissä 11.-16.8.2012.
Tapahtuma kokoaa vuosittain yli 3500 kirjastoalan ammattilaista kaikilta kirjastosektoreilta 120 eri maasta.
Helsingin yliopiston kirjasto on aktiivisesti mukana IFLA 2012-konferenssin järjestelyissä.

The World Library and Information Congress 2012, 78th IFLA General Conference and Assembly, will take place at the Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre in Helsinki, Finland.
IFLA congress brings together over 3,500 participants from more than 120 countries. Helsinki University Library is actively involved in the organizing committees.
