FinBOL created

FinBOL, a Finnish nod of the international barcode of life (iBOL) consortium, was created to support and coordinate DNA barcoding activities in Finland. The aim is to make Finland one of the first countries to have comprehensively barcoded its eukaryotic species as well as to barcode other Palearctic species deposited in Finnish collections. Several INBIOS members are active in FinBOL.
