The numbers for landline phones at the Helsinki University Library will change on Thursday 24 April 2014 as part of the change of the phone system at the University of Helsinki. The mobile numbers and short extension numbers currently in use will remain unchanged.
However, phone numbers which currently begin with the digits 09 191 will begin with 02941 after the changeover. The new numbers will be updated to the appropriate channels during Thursday, 24 April. Any calls to the old numbers will be directed to a recording with information on the change.
Until 23 April, the University of Helsinki phone exchange will answer at 09 1911. From Thursday 24 April, however, the number will be 0294 1911. If calling from abroad, the number is +358 294 1911.
