The resource consists of a repository of news collected from a division of the CIA, the Foreign Broadcast Information Services– which was formed through the mandate of president Roosevelt. It consists of tv broadcasts, radio transmissions and government speeches that were collected daily and sent back to the USA for intelligence purposes.
