Organisation

NCoE NordWel is a multi-disciplinary, cross-national research network of eight partner units in universities in all the Nordic countries. It is coordinated at the University of Helsinki, Department of Political and Economic Studies, Section of Social Science History.

Administration

The Centre is led by Pauli Kettunen, Professor of Political History at the University of Helsinki.

Professor Klaus Petersen is Vice Director of the Centre. Professor Petersen works in the Centre for Welfare State Research at the University of Southern Denmark, Odense.

As the Coordinator of the Centre, Ms Heidi Haggrén is responsible for administration and communications. The Coordinator’s office is situated in the University of Helsinki, Department of Political and Economic Studies, Section of Social Science History.
