Perception, Action and Cognition Group investigates human information processing using methods of psychophysics (detection & discrimination thresholds, reaction times and classification images), EEG, and fMRI – combined with computational modelling.

Research topics include color and brightness processing, perception of shapes, motor control, coordination of hand movements, short term memory, perceptual learning, and face perception. For more detailed information of the research activities, please see the links below and our publications.

Members of the research group are supported by grants from Academy of Finland, Finnish Graduate School of Psychology and University of Helsinki.
