• What’s the theoretical background of the research? (Are there any options? What about complementary proposals? Is there something unnecessary?)
• What’s the ontological perspective of this research? (Are there any alternative perspectives? Is something forgotten?)
• What kinds of predefinitions are made? Is it defined widely or strictly? How does it serve
• What’s the research question? Is it a question which can be answered within the research/thesis/doctoral dissertation?

Methods

• What’s the chosen research method? (Is it qualitative or quantitative? What kinds of limitations does it cause? Its weakness and strength? How well does the use of this method match to this research?)
• What/Who are the research subjects or what’s the research material? What are the practicalities of using these data sources? Are you using observation or gathering data with forms? What are the ethics of using these data sources?
• Are any permission needed?

Realism of the plan

• Is the research design realistic? What is demanded that the research plan succeeds? Where does it fail if it’s about to fail?
• Is it possible to answer to the research questions on the grounds of this research design? What kind of answer can be offered on the basis of this material and method? What did the theory represent?
• What kind of entity does the research create? (If it was a stool, how many feet would it have?)
