This work package lays the foundations for the consortium to make a comparative analysis of the mainstreaming processes of populism – according to how these processes are portrayed and constructed in the media spheres of the countries included in the study. The researchers will collect
material from the news media and online forums according to the agreed sampling procedure with the help of native research assistants. The work package aims to answer the main objectives of the project and especially focuses populist phenomenon from the perspective of the media.
