General information for participants
All members of the network are invited to present papers in all the events. The papers may be discussion papers, theoretical and methodological essays, project proposals, article manuscripts or other. The purpose of the network is to help Nordic doctoral students to write and publish to an international audience. With this in mind, participants are encouraged to present works in progress, for instance journal articles or thesis developments.
All members of the network are invited to participate in the meetings. In order to make the network a viable and workable enterprise, it is desirable that all members shall actively participate in its activities. Therefore absence from two consecutive events amounts to a resignation from the network.
Doctoral students are guaranteed to have their travel and accomodation costs reimbursed. All senior members of the network can have their costs linked with travel and accomodation reimbursed, in case their own institutions or projects do not cover such costs.
The network reimburses the cost of ECONOMY-CLASS FLIGHTS ONLY. For some carriers, such as SAS, this normally requires staying the night from Friday to Saturday. Those flying with carriers that require staying the night from Saturday to Sunday are asked to contact the network coordinator.
