Doctoral Training Course, 2-4 December 2014, on 

Human Rights and Constitutional Law 

The doctoral training course is a joint initiative between the University of Helsinki and the European University Institute in Florence (EUI). The course is organised by the Working Group in Human Rights and Constitutional Law that functions as a connecting platform for doctoral candidates in Finland. The course will take place at the EUI premises in Florence (Italy).

The course aims to offer a forum for discussing a variety of important issues within the current human rights and constitutional law discourse. The format of the course is built on informal and open-minded group discussions of papers presented by doctoral candidates. In  addition, the scholarly program includes lectures by senior scholars.

The doctoral training course is open to doctoral students and researchers with a keen interest in the topics related to the field of human rights and constitutional law. During two days, participants will have an opportunity to engage in lectures and discussions chaired by the senior scholars.
