Tuomas Ojanen is Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Helsinki. He is also Part-time Professor within the SURVEILLE project at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy and Senior Expert within the FRANET network, providing expertise for the EU Fundamental Rights Agency. His main areas of research and expertise include Finnish constitutional law, comparative constitutional law, international human rights law and constitutional law of the European Union.
