Carsten Risager

Carsten Risager is an archaeologist who works in GIS- and data management for museums in Denmark. In 2007-11 he was Chairman for MUD (MuseernesUdgravningsData), the museum excavation database used for most developer funded-archaeology in Denmark. He is head of the ‘Unit of Archaeological IT’ at Århus University/Moesgård Museum, which is responsible for the project Digitale Detektorfund (DIME). He will visit Subproject III at Museovirasto on incoming mobility as part of the project.
