The research report and multimedia website have been launched
The research report The Stopped – Ethnic Profiling in Finland can be read in open access-format on the project website. We have also launched the multimedia website that popularises the findings of the research for the general audience. See profiling.fi for more contents.
Konferenssi etnisestä profiloinnista Suomessa ja Euroopassa huhtikuussa 2018
Pysäytetyt-hanke järjesti konferenssin 5.4.2018 klo 9:30-16:30 Kulttuurikeskus Hanasaaressa, Espoossa. Konferenssissa kerrottiin Pysäytetyt-hankkeen tutkimustuloksista ja keskustellaan etniseen profilointiin liittyvästä tilanteesta muissa Euroopan maissa. Konferenssissa kuultiin ulkomaisten tutkijoiden ja kansalaisjärjestöjen puheenvuoroja. Lisäksi järjestettiin paneelikeskustelu suomalaisten viranomaisten, kansalaisaktivistien ja tutkijoiden kesken etniseen profilointiin puuttumisesta.

Conference on Ethnic Profiling in Finland and Europe in April 2018
The Stopped-project organised a conference 5.4.2018 at 9:30-16:30 at the Cultural Centre Hanasaari, Espoo. The results of the project were introduced and related to experiences from other European countries. International academic keynote speakers and NGO activists seeking to reduce ethnic/racial profiling in different European countries engaged in discussions with Finnish researchers, authorities and activists.
