VITRI exploratory visit to Mexico (part 2)

After the visit to Oaxaca in Mexico, VITRI staff members Adrián Monge and Breck Miller continue working at the CONAFOR central offices in Guadalajara and from there visited a couple of Ejidos in Jalisco State and interviewed different stakeholders involved in the forestry sector in Jalisco (click for more pictures). Stakeholders consulted included representatives from the State offices of CONAFOR (Comisión Nacional Forestal), SEMARNAT (Secretaría del Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales), and COEFyS (Consejo Estatal Forestal y de Suelos). Breck Miller will continue with similar interviews and visits in the States of Oaxaca, Puebla, Durango and Quintana Roo as part of the exploratory visit which should culminate with a list of priority topics of cooperation between Finland and Mexico in the forestry sector.
