CSSA-UH will embrace more opportunities in 2015

Chinese Students and Scholars Association at the University of Helsinki r.y. (CSSA-UH) has been registered as a sub-organization of the Student Union of the University of Helsinki (HYY) since 1995. CSSA-UH is active in helping Chinese students, promoting the communication between Chinese students and local people, and making contribution to Sino-Finnish cooperation. We are open-minded, trustworthy and cooperative.
In 2014, CSSA-UH achieved a lot. Since February 5th, 2014, we started adding a suffix ending, “r.y.”, after CSSA, which means to be officially recognized as a “rekisteröity yhdistys” (registered association) in Finnish Registry Office. We believe this title will encourage us to serve our members more enthusiastically.

Next Year
2015 will be vital for development of CSSA-UH as it will be the 20-year-aniversary of CSSA-UH’s official registration under HYY. CSSA-UH will celebrate the dramatic development and success achieved in the past 20 years. It is also the 65-year-aniversary of the diplomatic relationship establishment between Finland and China. Finnish and Chinese culture exchange should be promoted to a new peak in the coming year.
Up to now, we have successfully organized Chinese New Year Party 2015 and continuously participated the New Year Celebration held by Caisa. Moreover, we explored and established new corporations with local business, such as AuroraXplorer Oy. CSSA-UH is experienced and enthusiastic organization. We believe we will be very helpful in promoting the “dialogs” between Finnish and Chinese in culture, academy and talents, and will be ready to embrace more opportunities in bright future.
