I See Futures — Overview

The ‘I See Futures’ campaign is a initiative by the International Committee aimed at raising awareness about the employment situation in Finland. Through this campaign, we seek to highlight the challenges and opportunities faced by individuals seeking employment in Finland, and to promote a dialogue on the importance of creating sustainable and inclusive job opportunities.

Join the I See Futures Campaign

“I See Futures” seeks to address the nuanced employment needs of Finland by enhancing visibility of the evolving job market, encouraging educational reforms aligned with future job demands, and advocating for policies that support economic growth and workforce integration.

Activities:

  • Career Fairs and Workshops: Nationwide events to connect job seekers with employers and provide insights into emerging industries.
  • Educational Partnerships: Collaborations with universities and vocational schools to align curricula with market needs.
  • Policy Advocacy: Engaging with policymakers to foster a supportive regulatory environment for job creation and worker re-skilling.

Facts About Employment in Finland

  • Unemployment Rate: As of the latest data, Finland’s unemployment rate stands at approximately 7.5%.
  • Tech Boom: The technology sector in Finland has been rapidly expanding, making it one of the key areas of employment growth.
