The joint Master of Arts (Education) program EDISO of the Department of Teacher Education and the Institute of Behavioural Sciences at the University of Helsinki is being developed. The name EDISO comes from the words education, diversities and social justice.

EDISO is an international master’s program in education that emphasizes diversities and social justice. The program is the extent of 120 ECTS, 2 years of full time studies. Maximum of 20 students are admitted to the program every second year.

AGORA is also related to EDISO along with other centers and research groups such as Education for Diversities at the Department of Teacher Education, The Nordic Centre of Excellence (NCoE) Justice through education in the Nordic Countries (JustEd), The ESC – Education, society and culture research and teaching focus at the Institute of Behavioural Sciences, Long Second at the Department of Teacher Education and the Research Centre for Religious Education, Ethics and Philosophy Education at the Department of Teacher Education.

AGORA morning coffee meetings are back from the summer break. The purpose is to meet, get to know each other and share ideas. Let’s try to keep the event relaxed and not too official. Everyone interested is welcome to join the event!

The first AGORA coffee this Autumn is on Wednesday the 26th of August at 9am. We meet at Olivia which is the cafeteria at Siltavuorenpenger. If you want, you can buy coffee or breakfast from the cafeteria.

AGORAn aamukahvit palaavat kesätauolta. Tarkoituksena on tavata, tutustua toisiimme ja jakaa ajatuksia ja ideoita. Yritetään pitää tapaaminen rentona ja vältetään turhat virallisuudet. Tilaisuus on kaikille avoin!

Syyslukukauden ensimmäinen aamukahvi järjestetään keskiviikkona 26.8 kello 9.00. Tapaamme Oliviassa, joka on Unicafen Siltavuorenpenkereellä sijaitseva opiskelijaravintola. Aamukahvi on omakustanteinen. Oliviasta on myös mahdollista ostaa aamiaista.
