AnaEE Finland is a distributed infrastructure consisting of facilities from the University of Helsinki (UH), which is also the coordinating institute, Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI), University of Eastern Finland (UEF) and the Finnish Forest Research Institute (Metla). AnaEE is part of INAR (Integrated Atmospheric and Earth System Science Research Infrastructure) which provides a functional and multidisciplinary research framework for ecosystem and atmospheric research. In this aspect, Finland is leading a way in Europe.
Finnish National Contact Point is Professor Jaana Bäck from the University of Helsinki, department of Forest Sciences.
A follow-up group was founded in spring 2013 when representatives from University of Helsinki, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Ministry of the Environment, Ministry of Education and Culture, Ministry of Transport and Communications and The Academy of Finland. When needed, the follow-up group can be extended to other stakeholders.
