CORONAVIRUS SITUATION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF HELSINKI AND ITS IMPACT ON THE CENTER

Due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the University of Helsinki where the Finnish China Center is hosted has declared an exceptional situation.

In this regard, the University of Helsinki has decided not to receive visitors from abroad. Planned public events at the University will be cancelled and no new events will be organized. In addition, all travel abroad and in Finland must be avoided. These measures will enter into force on 16 March and remain in force at least until 31 May.

In light of this decision, the Center’s planned academic events and visits will regrettably be disrupted.

We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time, and look forward to continuing our activities once the situation returns to normalcy.
