Associate Professor XIE Zengyi

With the growth of China’s market economy, particularly the ongoing development its labour market, labour protection is an increasingly important issue in China. This is especially the case given China’s huge labour recourses and ongoing economic transition. In recent years, several key pieces of domestic labour legislation have been adopted, and there have been some notable changes in relation to the enforcement of labour law. This lecture will cover new developments in China’s labour law, including the progress and challenges of labour law in China.
