The 6th Sino-Finnish International Seminar will be held in Turku in 2014

The 5th Sino-Finnish International Seminar on Comparative Law “Rule of Law and Economic and Social Development” took place in Beijing on June 14th-15th, 2013. The event was successful and governed many topical legal questions of mutual interest as well as various fields of law.

At the seminar, as a part of a larger delegation, were present the Deans of Law Faculties at the University of Helsinki, University of Lapland and University of Turku. This gave the opportunity to Dean Jukka Mähönen to invite the 6th edition of the seminar to Turku in the fall of 2014.

The Sino-Finnish International Seminar on Comparative Law brings together law professors from China and Finland to discuss current issues in the field of law. It is held  in both countries alternately once a year.
