The Center is an important partner to Peking University, says Professor Li

On Monday May 6th, 2013 the Finnish Center of Chinese Law and Chinese Legal Culture held an international research seminar “Global Governance, Rule of Law and China”. This one day seminar examined China’s rule of law development and its role in global governance both historically and contemporarily.

Chinese experience and performance was reflected from a European Perspective, as the seminar offered forum to a discussion of eminent experts in the field of international law such as Professor Martti Koskenniemi, Director of the Erik Castrén Institute of International Law and Human Rights, Helsinki University, and Professor Li Ming, Director of the Peking University Institute of International Law.

Professor Li also expressed his firm support to the research activities of the Center and considered the Center to be an important co-operation partner to the Peking University Institute of International Law.  The Institute and the Center will develop co-operation in the field of research.
