Mari Manninen is a journalist with the Finnish daily newspaper Helsingin Sanomat. She lived for four years in Beijing, where she reported on China’s rapidly changing society. On Friday 23 April, Mari will meet our students online to talk about the making of her award-winning book “Secrets and Siblings: The Vanished Lives of China’s One Child Policy“. This event will be moderated by Julie Yu-Wen Chen.
