New international Bachelor’s programme in Science

The Faculty of Science launches a new Bachelor’s programme in Science at the University of Helsinki in the fall of 2019. The programme will be taught fully in English, offering the opportunity to the students from outside of Finland to join the high-level education in Science right after the high school. In addition, those students who completed their school education in English within Finland may also find this new opportunity very attractive.

Applications are accepted until Jan 11th, 2019!

The programme comprises four study tracks: Physical Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science. Successful completion of the Bachelor’s degree in Science will open the doors of at least nine different Master of Science programmes offered in English at the Faculty of Science of the University of Helsinki. The mandatory courses provide the basic skills in Mathematics and Statistics as well as in Computer Science, which will help the students on the later stage to cope with the programme of the selected study track. Our lecturers are enthusiastic and strongly research-oriented, understanding the needs of young people who are eager to conquer the world of the unknown. We employ a wide range of modern teaching techniques, including group works, developing presentation skills and digital learning material. The students in our campus enjoy the life outside of classes in student organizations.

How to apply, and who are the people teaching in the programme, can be found in our website https://www.helsinki.fi/en/programmes/bachelor/science.
