Pension Reform Reversals w/ Sarah Sokhey

In this first interview, Sarah Sokhey and I discuss the Russian pension system, the key challenges facing pension systems worldwide, and why pension reforms are sometimes reversed after implementation.

Sarah Wilson Sokhey is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Political Science at University of Colorado Boulder. Her interests include business-state relations, interest group lobbying, and the politics of economic reform including the welfare state in Russia and Eastern Europe. She is the author of the book ‘The Political Economy of Pension Policy Reversal in Post-Communist Countries‘ (2017).
