Kerro tutkijoille työstäsi hoitoalalla ja opi uutta valokuvaamisesta
Oletko Vantaalla asuva tai työskentelevä ulkomaalaistaustainen hoiva-alan ammattilainen (henkilökohtainen avustaja, kotihoidon työntekijä, laitoshuoltaja, lähihoitaja, sairaanhoitaja)? Kutsumme sinut kertomaan työstäsi valokuvien avulla Helsingin yliopiston tutkijoille ja Vantaan kaupunginmuseolle! Olemme erityisen kiinnostuneita siitä, miten Covid-19 pandemia on vaikuttanut työhösi. Voit kertoa työstäsi suomeksi tai englanniksi.
Olet lämpimästi tervetullut työpajaan, jossa opit valokuvaamista ja kuulet lisää tutkimuksesta. Toivomme että työpajan jälkeen otat kuvia omasta työarjestasi eettisen ohjeistuksen mukaisesti. Voit ottaa kuvia omalla puhelimella tai kameralla. Tarvittaessa saat kameran lainaan meiltä.
Työpajan jälkeen sovimme haastattelun ajankohtaan, joka sopii sinulle. Haastattelussa voit kertoa kuvien avulla tutkijalle kokemuksistasi ja näkemyksistäsi omaan työhösi liittyen. Sinulla on mahdollisuus saada valokuviasi mukaan Vantaan kaupunginmuseon kokoelmaan.
Kannustamme ja autamme osallistujia tekemään yhteistyötä ja tekemään kuvista näyttelyn. Näyttelyn suunnittelua varten järjestetään erikseen työpajoja keväällä. Tarjolla siis vertaistukea ja mukavaa yhdessä tekemistä.

Työpajoissa on sama sisältö. Halutessasi voit osallistua useamman kerran. Työpajat järjestetään Vantaan kaupunginmuseolla Tikkurilassa aseman ja kauppakeskus Dixin vieressä, Hertaksentie 1.

Lomakkeella voit ilmoittautua myös, vaikka et pääse mukaan työpajoihin. Voit ilmoittautua mukaan myös, vaikka et asu tai työskentele Vantaalla, siinä tapauksessa otamme sinuun yhteyttä ja sovimme haastattelusta erikseen. Ilmoittautumislomakkeella voit myös kertoa kielitoiveesi (suomi/englanti).

Tell researchers about your care work and learn more about photography
Are you a care professional (nurse, personal assistant in domiciliary care, practical nurse etc.) living or working in Vantaa? We invite you to tell about your working life to researchers from the University of Helsinki and the Vantaa City Museum! We are especially interested in how the Covid-19 pandemic has affected your work. You may use English or Finnish.
You are warmly welcome to a workshop where you can learn about photography and hear more about the research project. After the workshop, we encourage you to take photos according to the ethical guidelines. You may take photos with your phone or your own camera. If necessary, you can borrow a camera from us.
After the workshop, we will book a suitable time for an interview. In the interview, you can tell about your working life to the researcher by talking about your photos. You have the possibility to get some of your photos to be added to the collections of the Vantaa City Museum.
We encourage and help the participants to collaborate in order to organize an exhibition based on the photos and stories. For this purpose, more workshops will be organized in the spring 2023. The idea of this is to offer and get peer support and to have fun together.

The workshops have the same content. If you wish, you can participate more than once. Workshops are organized at the Vantaa City Museum, right next to the Tikkurila station and Dixi shopping centre, Hertaksentie 1.

You can register even if you do not live or work in Vantaa. In this case, we will contact you and we can book an interview at a time and place that will suit you. In the form, you may tell your preference of language (Finnish/English).
