Objective:
The course objective is to get familiar with remote sensing basics, different remote sensign materials and their use in natural resource management and observation
Content
Lectures: Physical basis of Remote Sensing (RS), acquisition and interpretation of different types of RS data, basics of photogrammetry, use of remote sensing in forest inventory applications & in monitoring forest resources
Exercises: Compulsory exercises concerning acquisition, pre-processing and interpretation of remote sensing data
Programs skills: QGIS, ArcGIS, GRASS-basics
