Geo degree programme February board meeting // Geo-koulutusohjelmien helmikuun johtoryhmäkokous

The second 2021 board meeting of the geoscience degree programmes was held on Friday, February 12 and packed with urgent operative issues as the planning of teaching for the next academic year is underway. We received some nice news from the upcoming Geology MOOC -project working group and planned to develop new forms of high-school collaboration. The first MSc thesis grades for the year were also approved so things are slowly picking up speed for 2021 regardless of the continuing corona-related restrictions.

Geotieteiden koulutusohjelmien vuoden toinen johtoryhmäkokous pidettiin perjantaina 12. helmikuuta. Lukuvuoden 2021-2022 opetuksen suunnittelu piti esityslistan kiireisenä mutta samalla ehdittiin kuitenkin myös kuulemaan hyviä uutisia työn alla olevan Geologian MOOC-projektin työryhmältä ja suunniteltiin uusia lukioyhteistyöhankkeita. Myös vuoden ensimmäiset maisterintutkielmien arvosanat hyväksyttiin, joten huolimatta jatkuvista koronarajoituksista on vuosi 2021 vähitellen pääsemässä täyteen vauhtiinsa.
