EnterpriseHelsinki is a service centre for entrepreneurs in business, or who hope to enter business. The centre provides support, all the way from developing a business idea to finding the right contacts. EnterpriseHelsinki is a unit of the City of Helsinki’s Economic Development service. Helsinki Think Company is a collaboration between EnterpriseHelsinki and University of Helsinki.

Yrittäjyys on esillä monilla Helsingin yliopiston työelämäorientaatio- ja urasuunnittelukursseilla. Urapalvelut on myös yhteistyökumppanina tiedekuntien ja alumnisuhteiden järjestämissä Coach Caféissa. Coach cafessa opiskelijat tai nuoret alumnit kohtaavat urallaan pidemmin edenneitä alumneja, jotka kertovat omista valinnoistaan ja valmentavat nuoria työelämän liittyvissä asioissa.

Helsinki Innovation Services Ltd (HIS Ltd), owned by the University of Helsinki, is in charge of innovation-related matters at the University. HIS Ltd sees to the evaluation of innovations of the University of Helsinki, plans their further exploitation and handles measures aimed at improving the value of inventions. HIS Ltd works in close cooperation with University of Helsinki Research Affairs.

Makery kasvattaa ruokaketjuun ja toimialaan läheisesti liittyvien yritysten liiketoimintaa. Makeryn tarjoaa asiantuntijapalveluja elintarvikkeiden tutkimus- ja kehityspalveluissa, uuden liiketoiminnan kehittämisessä sekä aloitteiden ja palvelujen kehittämisessä toimialalle. Helsingin yliopisto on yksi Makeryn omistajista.
Software Factory

Software Factory is an experimental software R&D laboratory aiming at stimulating Education, Cross-disciplinary research and High-expectation entrepreneurships. It is run in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science.
