Support Tool for Sustainable Environment Management in Tropical Rural Communities

The planning phase of project Support Tool for Sustainable Environment Management in Tropical Rural Communities (STEM) aims to form platform where motivated rural communities are provided opportunity to go over threshold barriers for sustainable land use. Two areas, exemplifying relatively pristine and severely degraded peatland areas, are included in the project planning. In improvement of local community economy, the project aims to form small community scale land management projects with high accountability.
