Social Research

The Social Research bachelor’s program started in the autumn 2017. Social research consists of four branches: social psychology, sociology, social policy and social work form a fascinating combination.

In the bachelor’s degree everyone studies the same social research courses for the duration of the first year. On the second year the students apply for one of the four different branches (see above).

The master’s degree has six branches: criminology, social psychology, sociology, social work, demography and social policy.

The teaching is based on current scientific research and the lectures are held by the researchers themselves. In the Faculty of Social Sciences you will learn to analyse, criticise and reflect on the many things in societies. You will be acquainted with different branches of social sciences and their aspects on for example the operations of organisations or the challenges concerning societal diversity.
