Embodiment and intercorporeality in interaction

Course “Embodiment and intercorporeality in interaction” (3 ECTS), 10.-11.12.2018, University of Oulu

Prompted by recent interactional research on touch and haptics (e.g. Cekaite 2010, 2015) and embodiment (e.g. Streeck, Goodwin & LeBaron 2014), this seminar course explores meaning-making in face-to-face interaction as an intercorporeal achievement (Cekaite 2015; Goodwin 2017; Meyer, Streeck & Jordan 2017). The course is open to doctoral students and researchers on language, interaction and multimodality.
