“Gender equality is not a problem in our library – age inequality is!”

In 2009, a staff member commented in our well-being survey that gender inequality is not a problem in our library but age inequality is visible. In 2010, we received a grant from University of Helsinki’s Equality Committee and used it to employ an outside researcher. She, with a governing board, designed and executed a survey.
