Access problems in SanomaPro e-book platform

Due to the release of a new e-book platform there have been access problems with SanomaPro’s e-books.

  • If you cannot access an e-book, please clear your browsing history and try again.
  • When accessing an e-book from outside the university network, please use the VPN connection. For more information on VPN connections visit the Helpdesk web page on remote access.

The publisher is aware of the issue and is working with us to resolve it. We apologize for the inconvenience!

Service break in e-journals link resolver on Mon 10th December from 5pm

There will be a serive break in link resolver for e-journals (SFX) on Monday 10th December. The break starts at 5 pm and is expected to continue till Tuesday morning.

During the break e-journals cannot be accessed via Nelli, Helka or the search facility on the Library home page. Within the University Network you can search e-journals with Google. Databases and e-books can be accessed as usual.

The National Library and the software vendor are working to solve the problem. Unfortunately new interruptions are possible during the next few days.

Link resolver for e-journals is down on Wed 5th December

Link resolver for e-journals (SFX) is not working. This means that e-journals cannot be accessed via Nelli, Helka or the search facility on the Library home page. You can search e-journals with Google while using the University network. Databases and e-books can be accessed as usual.
