Academy of Finland September 2019 call  is open 3.9.-25.9.2019. Data Support´s Data Management Plan review service is available for University of Helsinki researchers who wish their DMP to be checked and commented.

Please, email your DMP at the latest 15 September to datasupport@helsinki.fi. The sooner the better. Plans are handled in arrival order.

TUHAT-clinics start Jan 8th @ Kaisa House

During  the January 2019 library offers support for University of Helsinki annual research reporting. Library organizes support clinics for researchers and personnel focusing on reporting into research information system TUHAT.

RDM basics (research data management): courses start in August

How to define and describe research data and materials? How to make them openly available and where to store them safely?  How to use DMPTuuli in research data management planning?

These and other basic questions will be answered in a RDM basics (Research Data Management) lecture. A RDM basics lecture with the same content is running throughout the year. Lectures are open for University of Helsinki students and personnel.

The Bibliometrics Seminar 2017: research evaluation and bibliometrics

The Bibliometrics Seminar is organised by the Ministry of Education and Culture, the Council for Finnish University Libraries, the University of Helsinki Library and CSC – IT Center for Science Ltd. The theme of the seminar is research evaluation and bibliometric tools. The seminar is free of charge, and the programme is especially targeted at everyone working with bibliometrics. We warmly welcome participants from among researchers; university, polytechnics and research organisation’s research administration and libraries, the Ministry of Education and Culture; as well as from organisations granting research funding.

The seminar is bilingual: some speeches will be held in English, others in Finnish.

There are a limited number of seats at the venue, but remote participation in the seminar / web conferencing is possible.
