Prof. emeritus Simo Parpola pondering upon ANEE

We had a really nice and intensive weekend in Jätkäsaari, Helsinki as The Academy of Finland’s Center of Excellence – Ancient Near Eastern Empires (ANEE) had it’s first annual meeting in October 6.-7. 2018. The program included various presentations about the aims and proceedings of the three research teams of ANEE and of individual members of the teams. Also both the international and domestic scientific advisory boards were present giving important feedback.

I also had a poster in the poster session. You can find it in here. In the poster, I have tried to figure out the basic principles of the theoretical framework of my doctoral thesis.
