Welcome to my personal page!

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Space Physics group at the University of Helsinki (Finland). My research interests lie predominantly in ionospheric physics and ionosphere–magnetosphere couplings, especially through particle precipitation.

I am currently a member of the Vlasiator group, which is developing and using a global hybrid-Vlasov model of near-Earth space to investigate space plasma phenomena at ion kinetic scales. My work focuses on the characterisation of particle precipitation in Vlasiator simulations.

Besides, I am also strongly involved in studies of the recently discovered dune aurora phenomenon, which is a great example of citizen science applied to geophysics. I have also participated in the Phase-0 study of the ESA Daedalus satellite mission as a member of the Science Team.

You can find my CV and list of publications, and potentially some blog posts in future. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you are interested in discussing potential collaboration!
