PERSONAL TRAINERIN VINKIT: Tavoitteena painonpudotus?

Kuinka tehdä painonpudotus turvallisesti, mutta tehokkaasti? Liikunnan ammattilainen, UniSportissa personal trainerina toimiva Päivi Pelkonen vinkkaa, mitä kannattaa suosia ja mitä välttää.

TOIMI NÄIN – TOP 10

Suosi näitä!

  1. Tee päätös ja pysy siinä! Aseta selkeä ja konkreettinen tavoite, jonka jaat pienempiin osatavoitteisiin.
  2. Kun liikunta, ravitsemus ja lepo ovat tasapainossa, tulet takuuvarmasti onnistumaan. Paino putoaa kyllä kun kulutat enemmän kuin saat energiaa. Parhaat tulokset saat juuri yhdistämällä nämä kolme peruspilaria.
  3. Suunnittele liikunnan aloitus realistisesti omaan kuntotasoosi nähden. Totuta kehosi harjoitteluun pikku hiljaa ja lisää rasitusta asteittain treenikertojen, tehon ja volyymin suhteen.
  4. Pidä päiväkirjaa tekemisestäsi ja seuraa kehitystäsi aktiivisesti niin liikunnan kuin kehonkoostumuksenkin suhteen. Jos haluat tietää kehonkoostumuksesi, katso tästä seuraavat vapaat ajat InBody-kehonkoostumukseen.
  5. Tee liikunnasta osa arkeasi. Suosi hyötyliikuntaa, joka lisää päivittäisen kulutuksesi määrää pitkin päivää.
  6. Suosi ravitsemuksessa monipuolisuutta. Kokeile rohkeasti uusia ja erilaisia reseptejä, kasviksia sekä hedelmiä ja marjoja.
  7. Säännöllinen arkirytmi auttaa elimistöäsi sopeutumaan harjoitteluun sekä palautumaan. Noudata itsellesi luonnollista vuorokausirytmiä ja muista levätä riittävästi. Varaa aikaa palautumiselle ja unelle olitpa sitten aamun tai illan virkkuja.
  8. Säännöllinen ja tasainen ateriarytmi. Syö 2-4 tunnin välein.
  9. Kun arkiruokailu toimii, herkuttelu silloin tällöin on ihan sallittua. Painonpudotuksen ei tarvitse olla pelkkää kärsimysnäytelmää.
  10. Säilytä positiivinen tsemppiasenne, tasaisempia vaiheita tulee meille kaikille ennemmin tai myöhemmin, joten niistä ei kannata lannistua vaan päinvastoin suuremmalla tarmolla eteenpäin.

Vältä näitä!

  1. Stressaamista ja uusien muutoksien ahmimista! Älä stressaa, tee mieluummin yksi muutos kerrallaan ja vakiinnuta tapa ennen kuin ahmit uusia muutoksia. Paino ei putoa yhdessä yössä, joten pitkäjänteisyyttä tarvitaan.
  2. Ammatikseen treenaavan fitness-urheilijan treeniohjelman kopioimista netistä. Mieti mikä on sinun tavoitteesi kannalta hyvä ja turvallinen liikuntasuunnitelma.
  3. Pitkiä passiivisia istumajaksoja.
  4. Lisäravinteille hifistelemistä. Lisäravinteet ovat tarkoitettu nimensä mukaisesti täydentämään ruokavaliota tarvittaessa. Pistä ensin peruspalikat kuntoon ennen kuin lähdet hifistelemään ravintolisillä.
  5. Monimutkaisia liike- ja treenivariaatioita. KEEP IT SIMPLE! Opettele ensin perusliikkeet ja sitten vasta monimutkaisimpien variaatioiden kimppuun.
  6. Liian pitkiä ateriavälejä. Älä pihtaa ruuan kanssa! Liian pitkät ateriavälit kostautuvat ennen pitkää.
  7. Kaalikeitto- ja muut ihme-dieetit! Syö tasaisesti pitkin päivää erityisesti proteiinia, mutta älä vedä senkään kanssa övereitä. Proteiinin on todettu pitävän paremmin yllä kylläisyyden tunnetta sekä auttavan lihasmassan ylläpidossa painoa pudottaessa.
  8. Muiden mieliksi syömistä! Voi kuinka monet selitykset on kuultu, että kuinka se lempityökaveri oli juuri tehnyt niitä ihania pulliaan ja tuonut koko pellillisen taukotilaan kaikkien iloksi. Älä syö kenenkään mieliksi! Herkutella saa välillä, mutta älä huijaa itseäsi napostelemalla joka päivä jollain verukkeella.
  9. Väsyneenä treenaamista. Väsyneenä treenit eivät kulje, tekee mieli napostella (sokeria) ja loukkaantumisriski kasvaa. Nuku ja palaudu ensin!
  10. Kiireen tuntua treenissä ja arjessa! Rauhoitu ja ota aikaa itsellesi.
